The room was quite small and simple but clean and with a window. I recommend this accommodation because of the amazing location. The street is lively with lots of good restaurants and bars. It is a 5-minute walk to Khao San Road but with a different vibe so you can have both experiences.

Great location - just across the road is a lively road full of restaurants, bars and street food. Further up from Sawasdee house are lots of clothing and bag stalls. The room was clean and water was provided. When we arrived we were able to check in early which was much appreciated after a very long flight. Also, we used the pool located just over the road multiple times during our short stay. It is a quiet pool, perfect to relax and get away from the hustle of Bangkok.

The location is just a short distance from Khao San Road, but far enough to avoid the noise. The quiet street in front of the hotel is charming, lined with numerous restaurants and cafes, offering a great atmosphere to unwind and relax.

I stay here nearly every time I come to BKK. I like the hippy traveller road it is on. The restaurant is as good as any along there (they all have the same menu) and the staff are great. It's a great spot to sit for a drink. The rooms are always clean and mostly the bathroom is a good size and again – clean! For value, it's great.

Location - super easy to get to restaurants, grand Palace, wat arun, wat pho. Room - ample space, very comfortable bed, good shower and bathroom. Staff - mostly very helpful, even through the broken english. Wifi - you need a separate login for every device which is a bit awkward and long winded, but I dont remember having any problem with the wifi itself. I would stay here again.

Personally, I think this is the best area to stay in Bangkok. It's quaint but lively. A fascinating area to explore without the feeling of high rise hotels and alleys with massage parlours. It's not far from the China town and river. Ram Butri is a great street if you like watching life go by. Sawsdee House is perfect in my opinion. It has the basics you want – clean, comfortable bed, it's not noisy (I was on the 4th floor though, so maybe this makes a difference? Doubt it), it has air-con, a safe, a modern bathroom (with window on the streets and view of the temple next door). The door was secure and the staff were great.

We had a superior double room which didn't cost much more but was a lot bigger in size and the shower room was double the size. We were in the middle of everything, outside the door were great eating spots and lively drinking bars for the younger generation within 2min walk,,, the next block.

This is a clean hotel in the middle of great bars, restaurants and close to some attractions too. The rooms are well soundproofed and we didn't hear any noise. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable - the sofa was a nice touch. We were only staying one night and thought it was a good place for the price.

Convenient and comfortable room with a view into the main street. Equipped with a kettle, fridge, air conditioning and safe. Helpful staff, we could leave our luggage after check-out and also take a shower. Close to Khao San street with lots of street food and entertainment.

Nice clean room with hot shower and comfy bed. Very helpful friendly staff. The young lady at the reception desk very willingly helped me to extend my stay for half a day due to a late departure at the airport despite the occupancy of the hotel. Thank you so much. Fantastic location walking distance to everything places what you need. Not so far from Khao San road. This was my repeated stay here and I believe it will not be the last :o) I recommend stay here
